The London Symphony Orchestra is a pioneering institution with a unique history and an inspiring vision to bring the best music to the greatest number of people. The use of new digital technologies is a fundamental part of LSO’s strategy as they strive to engage with new audiences beyond the concert hall.
Our relationship with LSO goes back to 2013 when we became heavily involved in shaping the initial concept for LSO Play. Earlier this year Sennep was commissioned to rebuild the award-winning experience to bring it up-to-date.
The all-new LSO Play has been designed to complement the rich content, promoting a seamless UX to provide an enjoyable and intuitive experience. The bespoke front-end has been completely redesigned and developed from the ground-up, a process that presented some interesting challenges. The outcome is an immersive, responsive experience that supports all modern browsers cross-platform.
LSO Play is a great resource which gives users a chance to get right to the heart of the action. We've all seen the orchestra from the audience, but being able to sit inside and choose your camera angles gives a completely different perspective to the music and what it's like to perform these great works.
